Remicade or Stelara

Hey Guys,

Its looking like I'm not responding to Entyvio any longer. I've been on it for a little over a year and a half, and it worked for me for a little over a year. My levels dropped to around 11.8, and they are supposed to be over 15. All was good, and the pandemic hit, and my doctor and I weren't keeping up on my blood work to see the levels drop. We moved my infusions up to every 4 weeks instead of every 8. I've now had 3 infusions at every 4 weeks with no change in symptoms while on 40 mg of pred, and hydrocort enemas at night.

My doctor mentioned Stelara next. I'm not opposed, but I've also never tried remicade. I know a lot of people have had success on remicade. My doctor is not opposed to remicade either. At this point, I just want to get the next medicine started so I can hopefully start weaning the pred.

Any thoughts are appreciated!

I'm definitely leaning towards trying remicade first. In the meantime, I'm waiting until I have 1 more infusion of Entyvio, just to make sure.
