In the same way Ambling that you hijacked CCinPA's thread on 24/11/2020 and replied with a nasty comment that got a slap on the wrist from the moderator and got that thread closed? Again this was a civil discussion but your actions here in not being able to partake in one will also have this thread closed. You are in effect demonstrating most clearly for us the exact thing that the original poster damo was writing about.....

I apologize I certainly didn’t want to hijack a thread or contribute to it and that is what’s happening here. Can the moderators remove all the OT posts to a new thread and maybe title it forum comments or something? Or would that really be opening a can of worms.

I didn't mean to be rude to champ I was just asking an honest question. I've read champ's story and scarring wasn't the reason for the surgery IIRC. Also, he made the same post twice in this thread about how glad he was to have surgery. Once would've been enough.

There are some people on these boards that talk about their surgery story in every single thread, who show up in every thread to say how glad they are they no longer have their colon. But I didn't come here to ask about surgery, I came here to ask about the significance of scarring.

Based on the few replies here that are actually on topic, severe UC can cause deep scarring with long term complications, but the body can also heal some of that, depending.

Mods, please don't lock this thread if it has gone off topic. Just steer it in the right direction. I'd like my OP questions answered. Thank you.

This thread has gone off of the deep end and unfortunately must be locked. Please give the other person the benefit of doubt before going after them like multiple here did. We're all under a lot of stress, on meds like prednisone, and some of us are afraid of procedures.
