Has anyone with ulcerative colitis on HUMIRA had their Covid shots yet? I am interested if you had any issues with reactions or experienced anything out of the normal of the side effects we have heard of.
Considering we all react to medication individually, I am very interested to know yours. There is no data yet, so WE will be the data. Have not had my shot yet but in my area they are distributing Maderna.

Not on humira but entyvio. Had moderna 1st shot and 24 hrs later ran a mild fever (less that 101) and chills. Took two tylenol and that knocked it out. Getting shot #2 on Friday.

I am on Humira and received my 1st shot of the Pfizer vaccine 1 week ago. No issue but a sore arm like I get with the flu vaccine. Next shot in 2 weeks. I would actually like a slight reaction to know my immune system is working. Lol

I had 1st shot of Moderna (on Remicade) and had mild headache and body aches 24hrs later. I agree that an immune response is a good thing.

Getting my first shot of Moderna Friday and getting scared!.one of the side effects of HUMIRA for me is hypertension. My GI told me to make sure wherever I go who is administrating that they have 2 Eppy

Did Humira cause you to have high blood pressure, if so are you on any kind of blood pressure medication? I am on 3 different kinds of blood pressure medications, I had my first Moderna shot on the 3rd of this month. Not one of my drs gave me a warning about it affecting the blood pressure, I did just fine. I have no idea what your dr is talking about & it really makes no sense. I do understand your fear. But, think about all the people that are getting the shots that are not are not aware they have elevated BP. I haven't heard about this happening.

Would have thought an epi pen is in case of an allergic reaction to the vaccine, not related to blood pressure. Are you prone to allergic reactions?

I am on inflectra (remicade biosimilar) and I had some fatigue and sore arm for 2 days.
