Dr Remzi wants me to have a picc line for TPN. Here the doc says it's not a long term solution and I should just eat. With a blocked bowel. Great.

Did he give you any suggestions on what to eat? Or how you can eat with a blockage? Can you see your surgeon?

Sorry for so many questions. Just throwing things out there. I hope you can find some help.

So I had the stoma revision surgery yesterday and all went well. I get to eat soft food today.

I've been lurking. Soooo sorry for your troubles! How are you doing now?
You are so strong to go through all this, and I hope the new stoma is a rock star!

My surgeon had told me to drink water with all foods to help them slide through. You're probably already doing that but I thought I'd mention it anyway.

What was the problem and what is the plan? That is really frustrating. I am sorry. Stick with soups if you can, that should pass through. At least that can keep you nourished until you go back to see your surgeon.

My local surgeon said the NY surgeon might not operate if I keep losing weight

So sorry to hear this! Have you reached out to your NY surgeon to let him know what is going on? Maybe he would have a suggestion for you if your local docs aren't helping. Obviously, this can't continue. You have to be able to eat!

I decided as long as I'm outputting, I'll stick with soft foods. I get panic attacks when I don't eat. So I better eat smile

Yep ... you better eat! smile Until things are more healed maybe you could either use a blender or a food processor to make your own version of baby food if you get tired of the usual soft foods.
