After The Sick Rose (William Blake)

O Colon thou art sick
The invisible gene,
That burns through the gut
In the flaming bowel:

Has found out thy bed
Of crimson pain:
And its dark secret anger
Does thy life destroy.

Wrote this when I was in the severest agonies of a uc flare!

Here's mine
There once was a colon that caused me great pain
Towards the end I thought I was going insane
Til one day surgery gave me my life back
And now I'm free and can eat any snack
