Weak response to Stelara every 8 weeks that significantly improved by upping frequency?

I have a colonoscopy in two weeks. Think I'll ask to have more frequent Stelara injections. I want to know if anyone had a drastic change in response to Stelara by upping frequency. When I started Humira and followed the regular biweekly dose it wasn't doing much but it was like a completely different drug when I started injecting weekly. It's what got me and kept me in remission for 4 years.

Just wanted to know if such a thing is possible with Stelara. Thanks, all.

I started Stelara before it was approved for IBDs and I could only get offlabel usage at the psoriasis dosing - 90 days and 45 mgs. I did not work well for me and then the FDA approved it for CD and I was able to get 90 mgs every 56 days and that was a game changer for me. I've been good ever since. So upping my dosage did help me but you're probably on my current dosage.

I'm unsure about upping the frequency more than the current CD dosage - it's probably an insurance thing so it could be a fight.

There are some blood tests that they run to see your serum and Stelara antibody levels. I had it done a few years ago

I had my first Stelara IV dose today, so I'll guess I'll find out in the coming months if every 8 weeks works for me or not!
