Hello, my doctor has now put me on Humira. I did my loading dose at my doctors office last week with the help of the nurse. Everything went well and I can seem to do the injection just fine by myself.
The next day a nurse ambassador called me from Abbvie. She introduced herself and acted like she cared, but the whole conversation felt very script
ed. Anyway, she said from now on she will call me via zoom while I do my injection from home. I guess i agreed to this at the time, but why is this necessary? Can't i give myself the injection without her calling? Does anyone else have experience with this? It seems very intrusive and unnecessary.

You can decline her services, this is just an extra that is offered. If you still have her phone number just call her & tell her that you appreciate the offer but you feel quite confident giving yourself the shot. End with if I ever have an issue I will contact you & hang up. If she tries to contact you again after letting her know you don't need the service, don't answer the call.

I agree. You tell them, don’t lose me, but I’ll call you, please don’t call me.
I was on Humira for 4 years. And there were times when I did call the ambassador with questions. So, you want to stay in the “positive file”. …not get taken out of their data base.
They are just trying to do their job. If they say, to keep you in the data base I need to call you ever once I a while, tell her, every six months.
My opinion.

There’s a number to call, I believe it’s in the insert, if I want answers I have confidence in. They have a “manual” that has answers to all things Humera. They have answers to questions that my ambassador does not.
2 things you will never hear from mine…
1) Anything negative about
Humera.
2) Medical advice.
That said, the drug works for me.

You're buying the highest-grossing drug in the world, so they can afford unusual concierge services to make really sure you don't get frustrated with the injection process.

I didn't find the Humira Ambassador I had very helpful. I wasn't on Humira very long though so maybe I don't have much experience with them. I don't see why they would need to do a zoom meeting when you inject. I would never have agreed to that.

To be honest, I agreed to the zoom call just to get her off the phone. She wouldn't stop talking. Afterwards, the more I thought about
it, I wondered, why would I want a complete stranger to watch me inject myself with a humira pen into my belly on zoom? Almost sounds like a joke now that I think about
it.

Every time? That's super weird. I loved my ambassador and she never did that crap. Tell them you don't want to participate in the program or do the Zoom call.
