I'm currently in the gate to my way to the take down surgery in New York. This is my last take down because if I ever get another stoma it'll be my last :p However I'm hopeful that my jpouch is now repaired and I won't be pain anymore. I'll give it a year and if I don't continously get better, it's time for a stoma. But I hope I don't have to get one. I love pooping smile

You’ve been through this before but this time you have experience and a better j-pouch. Just remember to be patient with yourself, it takes time to heal.

The barium Enema examination went well. I'm able to empty the whole pouch unlike in April, where I couldn't. I'm so happy.

I think most people are 1-3 days in the hospital after their takedown surgery. Mine was 7 days.
