I don't think my knee pain is related to UC. I started doing taekwondo in my 50s. Loved it but it is hard on the knees -- especially when doing a flying kick and landing on your knee instead of your feet
. I am very overweight too, so that contributes. Had to stop taekwondo. I miss it. I loved kicking stuff lolThanks CCinPA. You sound like such an inspiration ♥️ Shame you had to give Taekwondo up . Maybe you could look for something gentler like Tai Chi or some thing which probably mimics the action but not the impact or perhaps fencing so that you work more with your hands than legs?
