Can you have insurance approvals for more than one infusion center?

Thought I’d give an update on this.
Went to my second infusion at option care about 2 weeks ago. Had a different nurse. She was extremely kind, used the pump, checked on me a lot and never mentioned staying for observation afterwards. So I guess it was just that particular nurse, just unfortunate my first experience there wasn’t great. The second was much better though.

That's good to hear, Haley. Now that you know better, if you get that other nurse again tell her you want the pump.

After my 1st infusion (entyvio) they had me stay for observation but never again after that. I guess they figure if you’re going to react it would be the first time.

CCinPA: yes I’ll definitely tell her I want the pump if I do end to with her again

Flowers: I’ve actually never had anyone have me stay after for any Inflectra infusion. The first center I was going to said if anything was going to happen it would happen during the infusion. No idea if that’s right but that was their reasoning for not having me stay for observation.
