OldHat, thanks for mentioning the probiotics! I had completely forgotten that I’d had a recommendation from a dietician for a particular type of probiotic which helps discourage C Diff. It’s BioK brand and is mainly 3 strains of lactobascillus. Anyway, after the FMT I went into a long flare up and didn’t want to introduce anything new, but now I think I can. I’ll review some other posts about
how to introduce them because to be honest I’m a little nervous of them still
. I guess a slow start to see what their effect is would be prudent.
