Not able to access HW yesterday

I was not able to access HW yesterday, I kept getting a "404 error" anyone else?

I am guessing the new owners are working on the site, it would be nice if they would at least give us a heads up when the site is going to be down.

I had it happen 3 days ago, but not since. I wasn't on here since yesterday morning tho.

Oh gosh. Tried periodically since Sunday. 1st time I've been able to log in.

I was able to login a few days ago. I posted a topic that I see has disappeared. Then it went down again and finally I'm able to get in today.

I thought I saw a post about this same subject when I was in "read only" mode, but when I switched over to being able to sign in
.. it had disappeared. I thought there was another one in there too but I can't find that one either.

I thought I might have imagined it. Lol...

Its probably just a glitch.... or maybe they needed to delete things to get the system to work.

This is the first time I've been able to log in since "the change" (which has apparently been unchanged)

Well now that I think about it again, when I logged in a couple days ago and wrote that thread that has disappeared, the forum did look different. Then it went down and... now it looks how it used to look. I wonder if they put up the new version, found kinks to work out, and brought back the old version while they iron out the kinks. And that might explain why that thread vanished - it was posted on the new version.

It was different. I was sorta lost trying to get it to work... and it just didn't.

I'd assume your speculation is correct, new owners attempting to modernize the backend and glitches related to that. Mods reached out to the new owners on September 13th when it was first noticed, and we've received no updated guidance or information on the state of things. I've noticed weirdness on my end too

Have any of the upgrades been made? I see there are still some glitches that need to be fixed. It seems like the same old site as before.

Keith, they are still working on upgrading the system, so it's probably going to be a little wonky for a bit. Keep in mind HW was running on an antiquated system. While Peter gave the place a facelift, he did nothing to upgrade the system.

I can only access the forum from my phone at the moment. Keep getting 404 errors on my computer.

I think my pc is ok (although not sure I’ve tried lately). But I do get the 494 errors on my iPad but not iPhone. Which seems weird.
