I’m bad with the late night snacks before bed.
Sugar and Dairy do not get along at all with my UC.
These definitely affect what my morning movements look like.
Any tips?

I’d suggest googling something like 'healthy no sugar dairy-free snack recipe' (or including the word vegan will also make sure there’s no dairy) and wade through the results looking for ones from websites belonging to health-related organizations e.g. Crohns & Colits Foundation or various hospitals, qualified dieticians etc that include / exclude what suits you. The same sites will also often provide info on good options for suitable purchased snacks as well, if you’d rather not DIY. I rely on a few good no-bake treat recipes, usually based on natural peanut butter, unsweetened cocoa and dates and requiring a food processor or such. For savoury snacks, I often fall back on hummus and crackers.

I always eat before bed and most nights it is rice cakes, meat sticks, cereal or chocolate. These typically dont make me nauseous so these are my safe foods. My bowel movements have no correlation to these late night snacks at all. I sometimes go in the morning and sometimes it is the next morning. I am not a daily pooper but want to fix that.

Does it matter what type of crackers? Curious as to the brand and style you buy.

I eat any cracker as long as there are no seeds in them.

I like water crackers because they’re pretty benign from the point of view of salt, sugar, fat etc and so if I have trouble I can pretty much be sure it’s not the crackers. They’re pretty boring though
