Most of the drugs that get approved in trials have a success rate of around 30-50% during the trials. 52% success after 2 years actually sounds very promising to me, especially considering the people who enroll in trials are usually the most treatment-refractory, and that UC is an umbrella term for several different types of inflammation which do not all have the same "root cause" and would not be expected to respond identically to one drug.

I have my scope on Friday as part of the trial. I did blood work and stool test.
My bleeding is not bad my inflammation is though.
I may not qualify if my bleeding is not bad.
I will know on Friday

OK. More kind of things can cause uc.

But the symtomps are the same.

We should find the symtomps root cause.
If sby crash his car during a car accident (with another car) or sby hit by hand his car then the damage will be near the same. And the car mechanic know what have to fix on the car.
Ok i know the human body is much complex but the way should be same approx.


Moreover i think we could produced medicines with ~50% efficiency till now too, yes of course more is better , and we need more...this is alright!
But we should not speak about 50% remission rate medicines like a breakthrough...according my opinion.

Wishing you good luck! Did you try Rinvoq? I’m on it for Crohn’s and haven’t seen any improvements yet but other fellows in another group, who have UC, have immediate improvement. They report getting better within days. When I asked my GI, he confirmed its fast reacting action with UC.
