I've had to take a few days off from hounding BCBS. Instead I've been reaching out to all the doctors that use the Remicade to keep my issues regarding their specialty care in remission or me somewhat stable. I called my rheumatologist for arthritis in my knees, thumbs, shoulder and hips, my dermatologist for psoriasis, eczema, and PG, my urologist and urogyncologist for the fistula drainage causing bacterial infections in my urinary tract, the opthalmologist for the eye issues, and my infectious disease doctor regarding the infections the fistula will cause, plus my colorectal surgeon regarding the fistula becoming even larger and developing new ones.... And my PCP regarding the coordination of care for him with all the doctors. I will pick those letters up next week and hand deliver the copies prior to the peer to peer.
Monday I'll call BCBS to advise they are getting these letters from each doctor... And once I receive letters I will also email copies to the company office that assists with appeals, insurance commission, and my senators. I don't know if it helps but I will not go down without a fight.
I've discovered yet another symptom that this stress brought out again.... Mouth sores. The roof of my mouth is covered in them. I'd forgotten how horrible they are. I'm trying to get in to see all these doctors cause some of my symptoms are getting worse. But that'll have to wait til next week. I know it's the stress.
Will let you know how it goes. Say lots of prayers.....
