Just started this so I didn't hijack another thread.
3X....
I have a few inches of my colon left so they are still calling it a colostomy... But it's a very small amount.... so unsure if I'll be the same as you...
I have started to struggle with kidney stones yet again. I stopped taking an over the counter supplement (Moonstone Stone Stopper) and went to prescript
ion potassium. I started to have symptoms within 5 months. Imaging shows multiple kidney stones again. This month I switched back over to the Stone Stopper and symptoms are starting to improve. My urologist thinks it's the different citrates Moonstone uses to break down the kidney stones--it just works better for some people. I'll go back in for another ultrasound in June.
I previously stopped taking lemon juice in all water drank throughout the day .... And apple cider vinegar in the morning and night. (2 tablespoons in 6 to 8 ounces of water taken once a day or split up to twice a day--right before breakfast and dinner). I have started those back up too.
I think it's a combination of all 3 that clears them... I didn't develop any new stones until I switched to prescript
ion potassium--and then they developed quickly.
Please let us know how you are doing.
Oh...and minimum amount of liquids per day recommended by urologist is 120 ounces. Very hard to do.
