Gotya RE direct cause/effect of Imuran. The dermas don't have evidence of seborrheic keratosis turning malignant so they don't express worry over it, but the lesions are ugly. They can slowly scale down to a shiny pink spot, but then may build up waxy and brown again. Pre-pandemic I had attended a local IBD support group meeting where a young female patient complained about having scars from pyoderma gangrenosa, considered a serious complication of UC. She lifted the hem of her jeans to show us a dark brown flat spot on one ankle that looked very tame, about 1/4 to 1/2 inch wide. It didn't look ugly or exceptional to any of us, having healed thanks to effective UC biologic med. So we can experience heterogeneity in skin conditions as well as in many other aspects of UC: puzzling! / Old Hat
