I'm back from vacation. Had a great time the first few days. Until I got a nasty stomach bug. Re-cooping from that now.

Going for a ultrasound of kidneys tomorrow as a follow up!!

I went to Urgent Care when I got back from vacation. it's just a nasty stomach bug.

Norovirus is a nasty stomach bug that also brings on watery D. Good luck with kidney follow-up tomorrow! / Old Hat

I went for my ultrasound of the kidneys. All good! I go see my urologist next Monday. I had to go to the lab to give a urine sample. They said I did not give enough urine. I sat there and drank a lot of water but I was getting so nauseas because I still had the stomach virus. So, my doctor won't get a urine sample.

I went for my follow up yesterday. In the left kidney there is a tiny tiny particle (doctor said it is probably a piece of stone, less than 3 mm). He said it is so tiny that the surgeon probably didn't even see it. Anyway, he told me to keep taking the moonstone and lemon with water every day. In three months I'll do another ultrasound to see what's going on.

Sorry you have been feeling under the weather.

Hopefully the moonstone and lemon juice will dissolve it.

Just an idea, my urologist had me dissolve the 4 capsules in a bottle of water ( I also added a powdered lemonade drink mix that contains real lemon/citric acid in it) so that my body was getting all of the benefits. (Unsure if he thought my transit time was too short with a colostomy) I think it is better doing it like this. I've been doing it that way for a couple of weeks and I haven't had those moments where I feel like something is going on down there.... So I dunno for sure but it does seem better.... And I've been traveling in a car long distances... So I that's a plus.

I hope it passes quickly for you....

clo2014: I am going to do this! Thank you! Right now, I got moonstone gummies, the lemonade powder and am drinking water with lemon in it. I do have the moonstone capsules so I will dissolve four of them in the water.

Also, I am researching low oxalate foods. What to eat and what not to eat!

Next week I go get the little nogel on my lung checked out. IEven though I smoke, it would not surprise me if the n nogel is from 9/11. I was breathing that crap in for many months. Hoping for the best!

My sister has 2 nodules...one on each lung which has been "diagnosed visually" as cancer. History of mostly lifelong smoking, as she quit probably 10 plus years ago.
She's monitored via scan yearly...

I've read that past Covid pneumonia, RA, lung infections etc can cause nodules.

Please update after your test.

Quincy: are they giving your sister any medication or are they just monitoring it?

I go to the doctor next Friday. I'll keep everyone posted. I'll be going to my regular doctor in July to get medication to help me to stop smoking. It's time.

Hi Michele...she has RA and Sjogren's, shes on IVIG, Imuran and a med for strengthing bones. No meds for her lungs that I know of, but will ask when I see her next month.

I hope you'll do fine with quitting...looking forward to that update.
