Hello,
I hate drinking the laxative liquid before every colonoscopy. It's so awful! I need to drink usually at least 2 - 2,5 liters to make my alimentary canal clean. It makes me feel like to vomit pretty often.
Do you need to drink such a salt-sweet solution before your tests as well? Maybe you use another stuff?
Recently, I used a liquid containing the Senna herb extract. I "fasted" earlier, about 2, 3 days before - I ate only some jellies and "desserts made from fruit juice and cornflour or potato flour, kind of fruit jelly" - there is no relevant word for it in English.
And, although I had drunk even a bit more than the leaflet advised (it was a small bottle of pretty sweet sirup, even tasty , I wasn't "cleared" sufficiently, as my doctor said the next day.
Actually, I didn't go to the toilet more than usual, maybe even less!...
Why it happened so? Is the abnormal jelly-juice based diet in a few days before the reason of it? Maybe if I'd eaten normally, then the Senna would have the proper effect?
I know that the Senna irritates the bowels, but I's so tired with the casual awful laxative, that I decided to use it. And they're actually not very irritated...
Cheers to you.
