Getting discouraged

I'm so very sorry to hear how frustrated you are...I'm pretty frustrated with my disease as well. I haven't been responding well or even quickly to treatments either. Been trying to avoid seroids if at all possible. But I've been in pain a very long time & am worn out now. Am going to new GI doc, one that will see me himself, not his assistants, on Mon. Good luck sweetie! Hang in there! You're not alone in this!

Sherry, sorry you are going through all this, I wish I could be of help or offer some advice, but you seem to know so much more than me. The steriod e's I think are the only thing helping me w/my flare right now, I don't think the oral pred is really doing much at all. I hope they are able to get the right combo to help you out very soon!

Hi REd, well, im getting discourage right about now too... i just got off the toilet and it was full of blood. what is going on? doing so good and then BAM its like back. and last night and this morning were so aweful and full of pain i couldnt take it.
and it was ALL GAS. the whole lot. oh and the tons of crap that came out of me.
everything was pretty normal looking until this morning when there was blood.
im hoping it is just from the big poo or something.
it better not be coming back.. im still on 50mg of pred and wont taper for another 2 weeks.
it doesnt just stop working does it?

It took so long for me to get into remission that I don't play around with my meds. I had tried everything, both conventional and unconventional. Well except the SCD, because it's so restrictive I know I could never stick to it.

I worship this remission, and I nurture it very carefully, because I was so sick some days I wished I could die just to stop the sickness.
