OT-What is your favorite Thanksgiving treat?

I'm getting into the holiday spirit! My favorite thing is my mom's sweet potato casserole. It has gobs of brown sugar. Yummy! I can only eat it once a year b/c afterwards I will be bent over from the gas pain! Totally worth it...ha ha!

So share....what's your favorite Thanksgiving Day treat to eat?

A little bite of turkey with cranberry sauce on top....mmmmm....nothing like it! :-)

I make a turkey sandwich at the dinner table with a big roll and squish it together. Turkey, gravy, stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce and a little bit of squash. mmm mmmm mmm

also, I make guacamole for my cousin b/c he loves it.....thanksgiving guacamole, not your typical thanksgiving dish...

We are frying a turkey for the first time this year. I'm nervous! My mil is bringing a regular turkey as backup!

let's see....turkey dinner which includes turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, veggies, gravy and then pumpkin pie with coffee. That's my favourite TG treat!

Herb stuffing with chestnuts-- mmmmmm. In remission that means "Here come the added lbs!" / Old Hat (nearly 30 yrs with left-sided UC ... [etc.])

turkey, mashed potato, deviled eggs, pasta salad pie, pie, pie guess you see what I really like is the pie but have to stay away from all that sugar.

I like it all! My MIL normally cooks dinner and she is procrastinating about buying the turkey. So I told her that she just HAS to cook turkey this year. She so gets my Uc that it's funny....but she said yeah I guess I will since I know you can't eat turkey for the rest of the year that you make up for on Thanksgiving day! Oh so true.......I LOVE turkey and even though it doesn't agree with me, I sacrifice a day or two for T-day :)

I like to take bites of turkey with stuffing at the same time and brown gravy on top of it all. My boyfriend and I are making a small turkey for ourselves and eating at home together... I've never made a turkey before so I'm nervous!!!

Fried turkey with my homemade cranberry sauce followed with some Jack Daniels and eggnog...the cranberry sauce is the only UC-friendly thing on the menu...

my mouth is watering...

I love it all and plan on eating it all. I figure I have a moon face anyway so stuffing my face won't make much of a difference!!
