Rowasa ever give you soft stools??

I will use the Rowasa suspension enemas when coming down to the last week before my next Remicade infusion, and occasionally when I feel the first symptoms of a flare.  Recently I have noticed that the next day after using the rowasa at night, I will have much softer stools, and urgency.  Anyone experience this before???  Could it be that the pharmacy gave me the generic brand??

Hi...the Rowasa or the generic (I would assume) will give you a bit of a softer stool as well as some urgency with gas with the first bm....but if you're having more bms with urgency, it coudl be that you have inflammation or maybe you're sensitive to something in it.

If you've used Rowasa till now and have just newly tried the generic, it could be the generic. Does it just say 5ASA suspension enema or does it say Rowasa?

I'm not clear on how often you've used the Rowasa or for how long.
