Anyone had any luck with this as an alternative to prednisone?

I tried it once for a mild flare, and it did work for me. It took longer to work than the Prednisone, though... about 2 weeks or so.

I think its a great alternative its a hell of a lot better than prednisone

Be patient with this drug. It took me about a month for this to start working. Well worth it though, I was on pred for 3 weeks and I swear never again unless absolutely nessesary.

I was put on entocort with my last major flare and it was a miracle. I noticed a change for the better within 24 hours. Plus it doesn't have the horrible side effects of prednisone (gaining weight, round face, turning into a psycho, etc.). Good luck!

I was on it after pred and it worked for a couple weeks then stopped. But it sounds like a lot of people have had success with it :)
