Large hard BMs

Dear All, is anyone familiar with large and hard BMs? I've been having these for several months. Usually 1-2 BMs/ day. I very nearly clogged the seat today. However, I'm not constipated since I have BMs each day. I suppose it could be because of a still damaged colon, but I haven't had the conventional UC symptoms in a few months.

have you considered adding fiber to your diet? you may also increase the amt of water you take in.

I try to drink at least 3-4 pints or water each day. I actually lowered my fiber intake by substituting rice for cereal. Perhaps I should go back. It's tough for me to exercise as by the time I done at work, I'm exhausted. Although I don't have UC 'symptoms' anymore, I've been exhausted all the time and have difficulty sleeping.
