i took my last dose of prednisone last week(on monday). no side effects, no flares, no urgency. just me and my diet and of course lots of support from family and friends!
flare-free that's the way to be. (should be a bumper sticker)

good luck blueclass may it continue for a long long time
When I read the many posts from the seasoned veterans on here I hesitate to even think about
the total elimination of medications for my husband....he is no where near the point of even thinking along those lines as he is not in a remission. He certainly has more good days than bad days and is fairly functional but has a long way to go even though he has come a long way too.
Good luck in your pharmaceutical endeavors also.
