hi folks! I am currently on both of these for an abscess that developed into a fistula- no problems with that (aside from the emotional ones! eyes ) But I feel like crud- sleepy all the time, woozy, spacey, etc. I'm not "sick", no fever or anything, but I just feel horrid- think it could be from these 2, along with my many other UC meds? I've got 4 more days to go on the antibiotics.... yuk... any feedback/advice? Thanks!

Drink plenty of water to keep flushing the crud out of your bod! Flagyl is like insecticide--- yeccchhhh!!!!!!! Good that you only have 4 more days on it ... can definitely contribute to a spacey feeling. Take care. / Old Hat (nearly 30 yrs with left-sided UC ... [etc.])

are u taking probiotics or yogurt as well, to replace your good bacteria?

yeah, these antibiotics are the worst- I've been on them before & remember them making me even sicker. I usually take Culturelle, but have stopped for the duration of the antibiotic course. I figure they would just cancel each other out. I will start the Culturelle up again once I'm done. Besides, it's one more pill every day, which I really don't need right now! 16 a day is enough!!!!!

Flagyl never did anything for me
