Don't be lazy people, being vegan is easy. The vast majority of animal products have horrible amounts of hormones, anti-biotics and such that are far more damaging to you than any roughage.
Okay, lazy accusations aside, you purchase your meat and eggs and an organic market where they are free of hormones and antibiotics... the chickens are free range and the beef is grass-fed.
A diet high in lean protein, healthy fats, and low in carbs, dairy-free and mostly grain free has worked very well for me and alot of other IBDers.
