An another question....Can you have a partial blockage?

What are the symptoms?

Doctor has me on 60 mg of pred. and Rowasa. Having very bad cramps with bm. And my hemroids are what's really hurting.

I just went to the ER yesterday to rule out a blockage. They said that some matter can "leak through" the blockage. So even if I was eliminating, I could still have one. I went to the ER, because I was having pain in my right side, which is a new symptom for me. The doc said that he'd be able to tell a blockage if my side was hard. But he could mush it around, so I didn't have one. There are also tests they can do: a CT scan and bloodwork.

Remember, it's better safe than sorry. If you feel like you need medical attention, you should get it. I LOVE to self-diagnose, but that's no substitute for proper medical care.
