Allergy Test

I went to have an allergy test today. I have been having episodes of hives breaking out all over my face & my left ear feels stopped up all the time. I keep fluid on it. She took my blood for some for the test. She was going to do a patch test for chemicals but decided to wait. Since I am on Remicade & methotrexate, she said that it could alter my test. She is waiting to about time for my next infusion to do the patch test & I have to skip a dose of methotrexate. Has anyone else ever heard of methotrexate & remicade altering an allergies test results?

I had the blood RAST test while being on 6mp. It definately altered my results because I had them test me for hazel nuts in which I know 100% that I am allergic to but the test came back negative. So I asked my primary if the 6mp could alter it and she didn't know so I asked my GI and he said it shouldn't because the 6mp lowers a different part of the immune system so I brought up the hazel nuts and he just said hmmm and left it at that. So I think that it does alter the test.
