Deepest condolences on the death of your mom. I know how painful the experience can be.
Most of us have IBS as well as UC.....so, sometimes symptoms can become kind of complicated or conflicting as to the origin. Considering what's been going on....there would probably be something.
It's great your sig-scope results were clear visually. The biopsies would state that there would be obvious changes from inflammation...the way the cells line up would be indicitive of that even though you don't have any visual inflammation.
The fact that you have UP....you wouldn't really have diarrhea unless it would be food related or maybe a gastro bug..etc.
You are on Citrucel and high fibre....that could have something to do with your stool consistency.
Are you having multiple bms or still in the "normal" range for you?
Even though your s-scope was 10 days ago.....you might NOW be starting to have some inflammation......kind of the calm after the storm flare reaction. Sometimes an event itself....albeit severe....may not have as much effect on us as would dealing with the event afterward. A death of a parent, no matter the relationship (close or not), will still have emotional ties and can influence our body's reactions, etc.
You also just went through the worry of the dysplasia, etc.
I would strongly suggest you start the Canasa nightly at least for a week and start to taper to make sure you keep things at bay. If your symptoms worsen consistently rather than sporatically, you will be flaring in early stages....that's when to act, not when it gets too much worse.
Keep us posted.
