I was dx with UC 1 year after having my appendix removed. Ran across this article in todays paper. Interesting !! What are your thoughts, if any on this ?

I wonder how many of us had our app. removed BEFORE being dx with UC ?

Very interesting thanks for posting this...I still have mine too but after reading this article I wonder if maybe mine isn't functioning properly hencing the need for taking probiotics...I now wonder how much of a connection there is to the apendix and IBD, even IBS.
