to: Jasper the dog- OT

Ours is a Beagle. He is 10 years old, and lazy now in his old age! lol He used to be very active, but his hips hurt now! He likes to cuddle up to us too, so he likes when I lay in the bed all the time when I'm not feeling well.

There's a quote I can't remember that says something like there's no doctor better than the cold nose of a dog.

that is so true! I have 2 dogs one is a german shep/lab cross Named Alexander aka Xander and the other is a chow/golden crossnamed Tishadh aka Tish. Xander is about 95 pounds of big dog and when I am feeling ok he trys to be the world's largest lap dog. When I'm in pain tho he knows and just lays at my feet, follows me to the bathroom door where he waits until I get out and when I'm in bed he sits next to the bed with his head resting on my arm for hours waiting for me to get back up. Tish is smaller at barely 60 pounds so she can actually fit in the chair next to me and knows how to gently get up in the bed next to me.

It's amazing how they know I'm in pain without me having to tell them "no don't jump today" and I love the way they worry over me, I swear they'd bring me anything I asked of them if they had opposable thumbs!
