Back from colonoscopy

I had my test done this morning. The Dr found inflamation in my rectum and up to my sigmoid colon. He decided to leave me on my current dose of colazal and have me do PM canasa suppositories every night (not just when flaring). He says this should help w/my left side pain and bloating. He did some biopsies but said that was nothing to be worried about. He wants to see me in 8wks, and if things aren't getting better we'll discuss the 6MPs.

Before you go to the 6-MP...you should try the retention enemas.

My perspective...you should exhaust the 5ASA meds long before going to the immunosuppressants and of course, prednisone.
