My daughter is now 7 and is having blood on the ouside of her bm and on the tp after she wipes. Going once a day, no paid or urgency, what are your thoughts. Her BMs can be hard, working on that with applesauce and such.
Thanks

Sounds like an anal fissure to me.

It could be just a little fissure, my little girl has them. But as always have a doctor check her out.

Usually blood on my stool is the first sign that I am entering a flare. But if she is having hard bms, it can be that she has a slight rectal tear.

Quite often we all overreact in advising others as we suffer from IBD. If someone is having blood, it is MOST likely NOT IBD and something more benign.
