Many do, just be careful of your salt intake and portion size, drink lots of water to help fill you up, eat as much fruit and veggies you can tolerate because those typically don't cause weight gain and it's healthy food...and don't worry, as long as you're careful with diet and portion the weight from pred will diminish once you've tappered off at some point.
