Is there anything we can do to help w/ the bloating on bad days?  Perhaps a med or food?  On my bad days I look like I am at least 6 months pregnant.  Any suggestions?

Be grateful that those swingy pseudo-maternity tops are still in style, I guess! (At least they are in my backwoods little town...) They seem to hide a multitude of inches! And if you don't have any, a little retail therapy can be fun...

Increase your probiotics acidopholis. Thats what i did really helped out alot with the bloating and gas.

Taking fibre supplements daily and indefinitely (as suggested by my GI) has gotten rid of the bloat and excess gas for me...among many other benefits, like firming up my stools, cutting back on daily BM's and mucus issues.

I take a combo of Simethicone (anti-gas) and a caffeine free diuretic. I'm pretty sure a lot of my bloat was water retention.

And I hear ya loud and clear. I fit into a variety of sizes. I have my period and look SO bloated and have an interview on Friday. I just don't want them to think Im preggo. Thank goodness for suit jackets. As long as the skirt buttons. Gasp. I have elastic waist back up pants if they don't. Urgh.
