What is your favorite food/meal to eat after a prep/scope?

I'm totally jealous of all who can eat afterward. My body totally rebels if I deny it, it's three square meals a day. The liquids diet, the fasting and the prep take away my appetitite for at least 24 hours afterward.

Went to my eye doctor recently who after learning of my UC, felt obligated to regale me with the story of his recent colonoscopy. talked most excitedly about the perfection of the post colonscopy meal. Must be nice!

Everything sounds divine right now! I am SO hungry I can hardly stand it. My body is shaking and I can hardly think. I don't do well without food :( It will take my body at least two days to regulate itself again - but I'll need to eat and drink in good portions.

mmm I keep a store of easy mac in my house for only after scopes!  it's about the only non-organic thing I have! 

of course that is what I will eat, that is if I'm not in total agony due to dehydration!  Which has unhappily enough happened to me before.

my next scope will be crackers and maybe some soup...........the scope before I had KFC after it and um not a good idea at all. I normally don't eat that stuff anyway and it reminded me of why I did not.

Mac & cheese, what a great idea, I'll have to remember that...Amy's makes a good frozen one with gluten-free (rice) macaroni...
If you like seafood, look up the McCormick & Schmick recipe for mac & cheese online, with scallops and shrimp, it's heavenly!!

Well, as it turned out I felt nauseous most of the day after my scope. Finally felt able to eat toward evening and asked hubby to make me some mashed potatoes. REAL mashed potatoes. He makes the most awesome ones. Just finished them and feeling a bit better.

Maybe tomorrow I'll have a good lunch.

i have c-scope in 2 days and im on the low residue diet today and no foods tomorrow... so... after my scope im eating a whole plate of tasty homemade enchiladas with spicy taco meat and cheese and hot sauce!
