blood on bm

I haven't had any blood in my bowel movements since Feb and am currently bouncing back from a small flare. This flare was mostly D about 5 times a day and some mucous. Nothing crazy. Anyway...this morning I noticed a streak of blood on the stool (formed). It looked like someone took a crayon and drew a line on it. Any ideas as to what that could be?

It could be from internal hemmorhoids, I had them before and had no idea because I didn't think I had any particular pain or discomfort like you would think hemmorhoids would give, but they were there and causing bright red blood streaks on the stool.

Hemorrhoid is my guess as well.

My daughter has the same thing. What do you do about it? How long until it should go away.

I thought mine was hemroids...but instead i ended up in the hospital 4 days later. I was also running a fever and extremely fatigued. The stools were still formed at that point, and i was only going 2 times a day. The day i ended up in the hospital though, it was just gushing blood. was very strange, i'd never had a flare hit me so hard and fast before. But you should probably be proactive.
