Has anyone ever experienced pain behind the sternum, I get it most of the time I go for a walk. Kind of tricky to describe how it feels, but kind of a mild burning feeling.
I had thought that since I have constant looseness in my joints maybe something bone/joint/cartilidge/muscle was getting tweaked the wrong way when I walked, but I am no longer thinking that.
I learned that there is a gland called the Thymus somewhere behind the sternum, and was surprised to find out it has to do with the immune system (i guess that's obvious if it's a gland). Trying not to read too much into that though.
Anyway, just wondered if anyone has experienced this type of pain. I need to get a primary care doctor so I can go over some of these non GI symptoms. Too much googling has me all over the map from hiatal hernia to coronary/heart issues.
Thanks
