yellow liquid in stool?

has anyone had yellow liquid in their stool or know what it may be? i read online that it could be a giardia infection so my gi doc ordered a stool culture. i also started celexa last friday and one of the side effects is potential gi disturbance. thanks for your time!

thanks dr-a -- hopefully there's nothing wrong with my liver. i noticed in your sig you use vitamin e enemas. how have those worked? i just started my first one yesterday. keeping my fingers crossed!

i'm currently on colazal (max daily dose) and have been using rowasa enemas every night. i was prescribed cortifoam but am holding off to see how the vitamin e enemas do. i have been eating. when i first started the celexa i had absolutely no appetite but it's gotten better since then. hopefully i'll know the results of the fecal test on monday. luckily i had good aim pooping into the mini-margarine tub they gave me!

hopefully it's a benign symptom. one night i got really drunk and the next morning had a big bottle of red gatorade. an hour later i went to poop and a whole bunch of red liquid poured out. i thought i was having a hemorrhage than i smelled the toilet paper and it smelled just like gatorade. i just kind of find humor in all of us paying so much attention to the color/consistency/shapes of our poo!

Hi, looking for some help. My husbands poo is bright yellow, smells like sick and is very greasy. He is diabetic and has recently had extremley bad stomach and back pain which the doctor passed off for a water infection but now he is poo is really bad so much so our 8 year son wanted to know who had been sick in the loo.

Please help
