Just switched from asacol to lialda about
a month ago. Haven't seen any difference except only having to take it once a day. It's the same meds with a slightly different delivery system.

Lialda is the same medication as Asacol, only the method of delivery is different. It is time-released, so most people can take it once a day. It's a matter of convenience - only having to remember to take meds once instead of two or three times.

If you do a Healingwell site search, you'll find lots of info about
Lialda. Quite a few people take it, and has been discussed many times. The main advantage is you only have to take it once or twice a day, instead three or four times.

Lialda didn't work for me; Asacol does. Maybe you'll have the opposite effect? Good luck!
