to red some advise please

i started the asacol about a week ago didnt seem to bother me,but when i started absorbing more of the meds. i noticed a bad headache,body aches like the flu,and some dizzyness. well the other morning i woke up went to the bathroom and as i was sitting on the toilet i got real hot and dizzy,and nauseated with some sweating. i tried to get up and go to the livingroom and sit down but i blackedout and hit my glass coffee table. my daughter yelled at me and i heard her so i had to have been out for like a sec. but i busted my chin it needed stitches. well i stopped the ascol and told my pharmacist about what happened he toldme to stop taking it. my question is do you think i might be sensitive to mesalimine drugs?

thanks red i will talk to him about it,and try something else. i just dont think i want to try anymore mesalamine drugs thats for sure. but again thanks for the advise.
