Mr Potato head face!!

How about that Mr. Potato face we get from the steroids! I have had so many of my customers tell me how much weight I have gained.... I know, I can't believe their mother's didn't teach them that if they didn't have anything nice to say, say nothing at all! how long does it take to get rid of the round face?? I read that it is called facial mooning... I have looked at myself in pics since I have been taking the steroids and have destroyed them all! Any word on how long it takes to lose the moon???

I have stopped taking the steroids 3 weeks ago and have noticed some of the swelling go down, but I still have a long way to go. If I took the steroids for 3 months, what should I expect? Thanks for sharing !!

My moon face takes as long to completey go away as the amount of time I was on pred. So if I'm on it for 3 months, it takes 3 months for it to be completely gone. It never starts shrinking while I'm tapering, it only starts shrinking once I am off pred. completely. It sucks and for me it's the worst side effect. It's bad enough to be sick but then to have to look like a total freak is the worst IMO!
