Is Joint pain from coming of pred universal in all joints? I have been off pred for one month, but I only have joint pain where my ribs connect to my sternum. Last week I had joint pain in my fingers. I'm guessing its from UC because it's not universal?

Also will I have joint pain still if my uc is in remission?

My rib pain was from UC, not prednisone. It was temporary, a course of arthritis Rx and it quickly went away. That was a long time ago, even though I don't get remission it hasn't come back.

Thanks Peety. I've just been dealing with the pain so far, if it gets bad I'll take something.
Is the arthritis Rx over the counter?
