Pain Medication

Does anyone here take any other pain medication besides over the counter medications such as Tylenol?  The abdomal cramping is pretty miserable.  I think the UC is combining with the endometriosis that I have.  I have taken darvocet in the past for the endo pain but I don't want to take it if it is going to cause problems with the UC.  Does anyone have advice for pain medication for both UC and endometriosis?

You can ask your GI about prescribing you Bentyl. This is an anti-spasmodic. I use it on occasion and it really does help me with the cramping. Some days I have more cramping then normal and I have to use one every 6 hours but within a half hour, I feel a ton better. Darvocet is not that bad for Uc. The only thing it really could possibly harm is that it slows your colon down possibly causing constipation.

     During my last flare  the pain actually traveled into my vaginal area and down the inside of my legs to my knees.  My family doctor prescribed Hydrocodone and it worked great.
