Abdominal Noises

I am hearing weird noises coming from my abdominal area, they are growling like sounds that come along with no pain. Although I feel a slight vibration in my abs as if I am hungry or something...

What does this mean? is that a normal thing with IBD and UC?

My abdomen used to make sounds all the time. In fact, it was so bad that sometimes it sounded like there was a thunderstorm going on inside there.

I think these sounds are due to my liver having trouble digesting fructose or artificial sweeteners such as sorbitol and producing too much fluid as a result. I would often have diarrhea afterwards. The greater the sounds, the more diarrhea.

I have since found out that I am fructose intolerant and have stopped eating foods high in fructose. My abdomen no longer makes sounds.

Taking note of the sounds will help in determining what foods you may be sensitive to.

Well my stomach used to make funny sounds as if somebody is playing video game or PS3 inside. These are just because of acidity or at times when you have flared up. Yes in case you have got some food reaction it is an indication of the D hitting your bottom. Whenever I have rough food, my tummy becomes noisy.
Why don't you try cold milk. It may help in curing the acidity or fresh yellow turmeric.
