For those of you on Lialda, does it work as well for you as Asacol did? I'm contemplating asking my doctor about
switching, because at the CCFA conference I attended yesterday, I got a card so that I will only pay $25 out-of-pocket after insurance. I hadn't wanted to switch before, b/c with my insurance Lialda is a $40 copay and Asacol is $20. For $5 difference, I'd rather be able to take my meds all in the AM, because as I'm starting to feel better, it's harder and harder to remember my noon and PM doses, especially if I'm eating out or something.
Also, I've heard something along the lines of Lialda being indicated for inducing remission, but not for maintenance. Does anyone know anything about this?
