If your poop is dark, but not black, but very dark brown, its not tar-like, should i be worried?

Nah. My poop changes color depending on what I eat. If I've eaten a lot of dark leafy greens it'll be dark, if I've eaten a lot of blueberries (and believe me, I can eat a LOT), it'll be a weird greenish color.

Bob, if you are concerned, ask to have a test done on your stools for blood. The doctor will supply you with a kit. Good luck.
