I am so tired of this flare. I started Humira this week and I have seen no change. I am on nothing else and I can't wait two weeks for these meds to start working. I am bleeding sooooo much. I lost the baby this week and I just need a darn doctor to talk to me. You can't just tell me that I might need a transfusion and to be patient. I was patient three weeks ago!
Do I need to pass out before my doctor sees me?

Lisa I'm so sorry for you I don't think you should be patient and put up any longer you really do sound like you need to see someone, you may be dehydrated an anemic,so even if you are admitted for some iv fluids and a transfusion it would be something, you've just lost the baby, your hormones will have taken nose dive just that alone is enough to cope with,I can't advise drugs wise as I have not had humira, but I really wish you well, try to be brave I know its hard, don't give up hope that things will get better and you will get through this, wisding you all the best Anna

I don't have any advise, but I just wanted to say that my heart goes out to you during this difficult time. I wish you the best.

Oh, Liza, I'm so, so, so sorry. ((big hugs))
Does prednisone work for you and can you tolerate the side effects? If so, maybe you could get your doctor to give you and Rx for that to give the Humira some time to work.

If you're bleeding excessively, you should go to the ER. Sometimes that's the only way to get the medical attention you need.

I am so very sorry for your loss Lisa. Yea, if you don't feel well and are bleeding badly, go to the ER until you get some help. God bless and good luck. Thoughts and prayers are with you.
