Hey Chris29,
I know that this post has been on here for awhile but i am hoping you are still able to reply. My husband is a 1st class petty officer(IT I) in the Navy as well and was diagnosed with pancolitis a couple of days ago.The gastroenterologist mentioned that since it is pancolitis and not restricted to one area only, she might put him on LIMDU and adviced him to line up job interviews. He is on Asacol and Predisone for 3 days now but his flares seems to be lesser than it was before(every 20 mins)but now,he only have 5-6 flares per day.I am hoping both these steriods work and put him on remission and i would love to get some information from you if you dont mind sharing some information with me about staying in the Navy with this disease since my husband is planning to stay in for 20(he has been in for 9 years).
